Biographical Summary
Steve Kuzmich
is a Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Law Specialist who was
raised in Lewisville, Texas.
Education: Mr. Kuzmich received
his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Economics
and Political Science from Texas A & M University in 1991. In 1994,
he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Baylor University’s
School of Law.
Experience: Mr. Kuzmich began
practicing in 1994 as an insurance defense attorney with McLeod,
Alexander, Powell & Apffel in Galveston. In 1996, he returned to
his hometown of Lewisville to open his own practice. He has represented
hundreds of Plaintiffs and Defendants in catastrophic and complex
litigation matters. Mr. Kuzmich
has tried numerous cases in Denton, Collin, Dallas, and Tarrant
counties and is a certified mediator.
Court Admissions:
Mr. Kuzmich is licensed to practice law before the United States
District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern
Federal Districts of Texas, as well as all State Courts of Texas.
Professional & Civic Associations:
Steve Kuzmich is currently a member of the Texas Bar Association,
Denton Bar Association, and president of the
Denton County Trial
Lawyers Association. He is a past President of the
Denton County A & M Club. He is also a former board member of Denton County Friends of the Family. He is a current
board member and 2004-2006 Chairman of the Board of the Court
appointed Special Advocates. Additionally,
Mr. Kuzmich has served an adjunct professor of Torts and Personal
Injury Law at North Central Texas College.
